I’ve never done this and the women on your website look like models. Is this for me?

They do look like models, don’t they? Thank you, because that is what I specialize in--making all women look and feel like models. All the women you see on my website are every day women, just like you and me, who have never done this before (other than those who have come back for more!) and had no idea how to look good in front of a camera. I know you look at these images and think I can’t do it for you but I’m here to tell you I can. And I would love to show you just how beautiful YOU are. I know how to make you look amazing, and I will direct and guide you through the entire shoot ~ from expression to body position, hands, and toes. I will pose and light you in the ways that are most flattering for your body, highlighting the areas that make you shine. That’s what I do best and I promise I can and will do that for you. All you need to do is show up and TRUST ME.  

What about hair and makeup?

Professional hair and makeup are an essential part of the experience, and are included in every beauty/boudoir/maternity shoot. It can be added to the headshot package for $125. My main stylist has over 18 years of experience and is trained in makeup for photography. She is amazing and I love her. This experience is an important part of making you feel beautiful, pampered, relaxed, and fabulous. You’ll just need to show up with a clean, moisturized face, and dry hair. You know your hair best, if it styles better a day or two dirty, go with it. We want nothing less than for you to be completely thrilled with your hair and makeup. We don’t get our feelings hurt if there’s anything you want to change, and we make sure before we start shooting that you love every bit of it and that you look like you. 

What do your packages include and how much should I expect to spend?

Packages start at $995 (+tax) and include everything you need for an unforgettable experience as well as beautiful images and products. To book, you pay the session fee of $200. This includes your professional hair and makeup, and includes a $100 credit towards the package of your choice. About two weeks after the shoot, you come back to view your images and choose your package, based on your favorites. How/when will I view and choose my images?

About two weeks after your shoot, you will come back to the studio to view and select your favorite images at your in-person reveal and ordering session. We go through them together on the big screen and I will help you narrow them down because this can be one of the hardest parts of this whole process--but also one of the best. You will be surprised at how many you love and can’t live without. We make a selection of your favorites that will provide a good variety in your album or folio box. Payment in full is due at this time.

For out of town clients, it may not be possible to come back in for your reveal, we can do this through Skype or Google Hangout.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. I want you to be able to get the package & products you want, so I have a payment plan option through Square Installments that allows you to complete your payment in 3, 6 or 12 months AND get your products up front (because I get paid through Square up front). Can I just get the digitals?

The digitals come with any collection you purchase, along with a personal print release. You may opt out of the product for just the files, but I can't think of a good reason you'd want to do that. I have created the packages based on my experience of what people love and what works. 

Can you get rid of stretch marks, cellulite and make me look perfect?

I retouch and do slight skin smoothing on all images, but I do not want to make you look like a plastic doll. I want you (and anyone you may share your images with) to see how beautiful YOU are. I do not typically remove scars or freckles unless asked, because they are a part of you, and they do not make you any less amazing. I will use poses and lighting to show off your best assets. I want you to look like you, and I also want you to be happy with your images. If there are areas you are concerned with, let me know and we'll discuss it.

Will my images appear on the internet?

Only if you want them to. I will not share them anywhere without your full consent. While I love to feature images on the site, blog or in marketing materials, your comfort is my priority and you will always have the option to choose how or if you wish to showcase your images.

Can I reschedule?

Yes. I understand that life happens and things come up, and I want you to be as relaxed and stress-free as possible at your shoot. Your deposit is transferable to another date if at least 5 days notice is given. If you no show at your scheduled time, your deposit is forfeited. I will do my best to work with you, so please contact me and let me know what's going on and we'll go from there.

Your comfort is my priority. With a private dressing room, a makeup room, and many options for shooting a variety of looks, the studio space is not only private and functional, but fun and relaxing. Beautiful floors, backdrops, painted walls, a vintage bed to die for, and spills of natural light in just the right places will make you will feel right at home in our studio space. 

I am located just off Wade Green Rd. in Acworth, which I promise is not as far out as it sounds. It's close to Kennesaw and Woodstock and 20 minutes or so from Marietta, and about a 30-minute drive north of downtown Atlanta without traffic (haha). If you use the Peach Pass to get in our super cool express lanes, you'll take the Hickory Grove Rd exit.

BEAUTY // BOUDOIR // MATERNITY

To book your shoot, a $200 session fee is due. This gets you on the calendar and includes the shoot time, professional hair and makeup, and a credit of $100 towards your package of choice. Packages start at $995 (+tax). All packages include professional hair and makeup, beautiful images and products, and everything you need for an unforgettable experience. 

About two weeks after your shoot, you will come back for your image reveal appointment & ordering session. This is where you will choose the images you love and finalize your package and product choices. Final payment is due at this time. You will have your products within two weeks of your reveal appointment.

Hair and makeup play an important role in the final look of your images. My makeup artist is trained in makeup for photography. I highly recommend adding this service to take your images to the next level. Arrive with a clean, moisturized face and dry hair and we will take it from there.

The Headshot Package ($450 +tax) is due when you book your shoot.

YOUR BEAUTY & BOUDOIR SESSION

You don't need a reason--do it for yourself. 

A beauty or boudoir session is about you, for you, because you deserve it. Sure, it makes an amazing gift for someone--that's a fabulous benefit of doing this. But it is far more than that. You are worth celebrating. You are worthy of this experience. This experience is for you.

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

How do you want to be photographed? Let's talk about how you want to see yourself in pictures. Your session can be fully dressed in a beautiful gown, a little black dress, a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, an off the shoulder sweater and undies, a tank top, a corset and thigh highs, a denim jacket and boots, a body suit, a bra and panty set, nothing at all...do you see where I'm going with this? It is up to you. Maybe you want to be photographed the way you appear on a daily basis, or you may want to step out of your usual routine--or maybe a little bit of both. I want to make it happen for you.

SCHEDULING

If you would like your album/products in time for a certain date, I recommend scheduling at least a month out. This gives us enough time and does not rush the process. About two weeks after our shoot, you will come back in to the studio to view your images and choose your collection. You will have your products within two weeks after the reveal. If you are a last-minute planner (I can relate), just let me know and I can sometimes make things happen quickly when I need to.

WARDROBE

I have a selection of corsets, teddies, lacy robes, and bras, among other things, that you are welcome to use. It is best to bring something you know fits you well and that you feel good in. I have heels available from sizes 8-10. Your shoot time allows for 2-3 outfits. Bring a pair of black panties that you like, because black panties are always a winner. It is a good idea to bring a pair of nude undies in case you want to wear an outfit I have in the studio. You can also go nude and we can cover you with the sheets. Professional hair and makeup are an essential part of the process and are included in your session. 

RETOUCHING

All images are retouched personally by me. I generally keep it light and simple, with a natural look. However, the level of retouching is up to you. I want you to look like you, and I also want you to be happy with your images. YOUR MATERNITY or MOTHERHOOD SESSION

Maternity Pregnancy is one of the most special times in a woman's life and my mission is to capture your beauty, strength, and grace with portraits that you will look back on with love for years to come. The glow of pregnancy is real, and the beauty that emanates from an expecting mother is magical. It is my goal to make sure you look and feel comfortable, beautiful and confident throughout the shoot. I will guide and pose you the entire time.

Motherhood Bring your child with you for a mother/child portrait. This is such a special and meaningful portrait to have that will be cherished until the end of time. This can be done at any stage of life. Bring your newborn, your toddler, your teenager, or your adult child (always your baby, right?) in for a beautiful act of togetherness.

WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

Our maternity session will capture your timeless beauty and inner strength. There are different ways to accomplish this and your session will be tailored to you. We can have beautiful fabric softly draped and flowing around you, or a lovely lacy robe. We can do a boudoir maternity session that combines sensuality and the beautiful pregnant body. We can simply capture the nude form and the beautiful lines and curves it creates. Before your session, we will discuss how you would like to be photographed and together, we will create the shoot of your dreams to celebrate you and the miraculous life within you.

For a mother & child session, there are so many options. Let's have fun with it and discuss how to style the shoot to give you a gorgeous wall-worthy portrait that you will smile at every time you walk past it. 

SCHEDULING

Maternity sessions are best captured between 28 and 35 weeks. If that timing does not work for you, let me know and we will work out what is best for you.

WARDROBE

Let's create images that show your personality and your brand. When people are looking at different websites for a service or professional, they are comparing the images they see of people, whether they realize it or not. The image you have of yourself out there in the world is the one that will pull them in or push them away (or make them feel nothing). WHAT'S YOUR STYLE?

TIMELINE

For headshots, you can view and choose your images the same day as the shoot. The shoot will take 45 minutes to an hour, and your images will be ready to view shortly after your shoot. Viewing and choosing your images should take about half an hour. If you add hair and makeup, that will take about an hour and will happen at the studio before your shoot. 

For a more extensive personal branding shoot, it may be better for you to come back within two weeks to view and choose your images. 

WARDROBE

I highly recommend that you add professional hair and makeup services. My makeup artist is trained in makeup for photography and knows how to make you look your best. To add hair and makeup is $125.

Some helpful tips: 

• Bring 2-3 outfits so we can choose the best options at your shoot. 

• Make sure your clothing fits you well and comfortably, and flatters your shape. 

• Avoid busy or big prints and patterns unless you have a jacket to wear over it.

• Deep, rich colors typically look better than pastels.

• Unless you want to make a statement with your jewelry, keep it simple. Use it to add a pop of color.

• Make sure your clothes are neatly pressed so they will look new and fresh in your images.
